Slow Food Week at Scran Salon

slow food logoWe look forward to welcoming Caroline Rye, Slow Food Edinburgh’s head honcho, to our June event. She will give us full details of the Slow Food week events, which run from 1-8 June. For a sneaky peek, details are available on their website.

One thing for your immediate attention is their pop-up event that will take place at the Edinburgh Farmers’ Market on Saturday 7 June. A delicious brunch will be served from 10.30am, then lunch will start at 1pm. Spaces are limited, so email immediately to reserve your space. Make sure to include details of any dietary requirements.

We’ll be showcasing some great local produce at our June event, too, in the shape of fruit cheese from Pickled in Scotland.

And we have the usual busy programme of contributors so it’s sure to be an enjoyable evening. We look forward to seeing y’all there.
