We kept our speaker contributions short and to the point, with regular saloneer Brendan MacNeill opening proceedings with a call out to people for suitable premises for a festive photo-shoot.
Next up we had Amy in her new role as marketing guru for Stewart Brewing. She told us all about their excellent array of Xmas gifts for all. There may have been a sneaky mention for The Alibis, what with their upcoming album launch and all that. Finally, we had Hal from Barnacles & Bones, who told us about the plans for The Pitt street food market. Given they’re working with Wow 24/7 as their media partner, they barely need any help on their way with publicising the event, but for those who don’t regularly dip in to that publication, the event takes place on Saturday 12 December from 12noon to 10pm, at 125 Pitt Street, Edinburgh. All that was left was for me to point people in the direction of Rootmap Edinburgh, who launched just after our event, then the #scotfood chat which concluded the Year of Food and Drink on a high note.
Here’s to a fantastic 2016, when we hope to welcome you to our 2nd birthday party, which will take place on 1 February, with details to follow in the New Year.
