On a balmy Edinburgh evening, we took to the stage with Scran Salon once more.
The usual busy programme started with returning contributor Vicky MacDonald, the inspiration behind both the Tram Stop Market and the newly launching Localmotive Market, which she told us all about, this evening. The new market, which brings together food, arts, crafts and other retail stalls launches on Friday 6 June at noon in the newly created space near Waverley Station’s platform 2, following the station’s refit. It will take place each Friday. We look forward to visiting and hope to see many of you there.
We had another returning visitor in the shape of Caroline Rye who told us all about Slow Food Week, which runs all of this week. She gave us an insight into the busy programme of events that is planned included an exciting sounding pop-up which takes place at the Edinburgh Farmer’s Market on Saturday 7 June.
Next up we heard about the upcoming Fireside Collective Summer Picnic on Friday 6 June, for which tickets are still available.
Then it was on to the Crail Food Festival, which takes place over the weekend of 14-15 June. Read more about the events on their website.
That rounded out another enjoyable event. We look forward to seeing you next month when we’ll be taking the show on the road to the Traverse Theatre. Sign up here!
